Mount Franklin Estate blends into the contours of the ancient lava flow from Mount Franklin a few minutes north of Daylesford.

While it’s more than 470 000 years since Mount Franklin – or Lalgambook – blew its top, Mafic wines capture the flavour and texture of Lalgambook’s rich volcanic flows and the quality of water from the base of Mount Franklin. Vines thrive under clear skies at cool elevation on the western extremes of the Macedon wine region.

Fruit is hand-picked from hand-reared vines of Dolcetto, Pinot Grigio and Nebbiolo, continuing a tradition of fresh, accessible European-style wines.
